Easter Blessings & A Big Thank You!!!
For all of you that gave me such good advice on the french bench a big THANK YOU! Seems as though some of you are for painting it & some not! I think it will eventually get painted but right now I'll just enjoy it's romantic distressed gold until I need a change! See..Isn't it a hard decision??? I value all of your opinions so much & thank you for stopping by for your advice.
I hope each & everyone of my blog friends has a wonderful Easter holiday weekend! I like most of you, will be busy cooking my butt off tonight & tomorrow for our BIG Italian Easter feast! It's always a big Italian feast on the holidays here! My mom is busy making the rice pies, cheesecake, & the individual sweet breads shaped like gingerbread men for the grandkids & great grandkids(she's a dynamo at 76!) My 20 somethings still expect them for Easter~so funny! Escarole soup with little chicken meatballs & two different kinds of Frittata are my mom's dishes also. My brother (the aswesome cook) is home to help out (remember him? he is the kitchen nazi from "Christmas Eve! totally ruthless in the kitchen if you get in his way!LOL) My job is to make the pizzelle's, the home made manicotti, the ham & all the veggies & whatever else we can decide on to go with our feast. I'm making a tiramisu for my son & his girlfriend & the recipe looks Scrumptious! I tried Giada's but settled on Nick Stellino's recipe. I'll be eating half the stuff before I put it together! LOL! What will some of you be having for your holiday feast? I love to share & hear about what other friends are having, probably because I LOVE to eat so much! Have a wonderful easter & see you next week! xo
Found this sumptuous setting while surfing the net~GORGEOUS~YES?!

Sounds like a fun Easter at your home. Funny and sweet how the 20 somethings still love to get the things they did when they were little.Beware of the Kitchen Nazi!
You sure have a fun family.
Happy Easter to you all
