It's that time already! I can't believe we are a month away from Christmas can you? This weekend will be a busy one pulling out all the Christmas Decorations down from the attic. My poor husband doesn't even have a clue what's in store for him on Saturday! LOL! Wondering if you are all doing the same? If you have a minute please take time to visit Jo~Anne Coletti's beautiful blog & see what's in store in the Christmas edition of Dovetails magazine. Joanne is a contributing writer to this fabulous magazine & the article she has featured looks amazing! Have a great weekend! x0
One of my very favorite shots with gabby taken when she was 12~How time flies~
My grandaughter Gabriella turns 14 today. I can't believe how the years have flown & how grown up she is. She's my first grandchild & we are connected in a way that makes me feel like I've grown up right along with her. Probably because I was a very young grandmother when she was born. She is an honor roll student, has an amazing group of close friends & except for the occasional fresh outburst (so 14 ish yes?) we enjoy her more than she will ever know. She has had to deal with some challenging things in her life but all in all it's been good & she continues to make her family proud & to make her grandmother smile (more than she even realizes.) HaPpY BiRtHdAy to my darling girl...........

Felt Like I should post due to the excitement & hope that most people seem to be feeling today, a day after such an historic election! Though the president-elect wasn't my choice, it seems as though there is an excitment in the air that's been missing for a while. I just hope I can catch a bit of it in time. Right now I am concerned about keeping my family safe in an un-safe world. Even though our current president is riding a tide of un-popularity let's not forget that he has kept us safe since 9/11. I hope the pres elect can do all he promises to do & keep us safe. This is my prayer the day after. :) xo GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
