Ring My Bell....

Just had to blog about the great find I came across a few months back by a very talented artist & designer down near my beach house in Rhode Island! These are paper mache bells designed exclusively for Jules Macher. Jules turns these into works of art with her paintbrush & adds a fabulous ribbon & hook for you to hang in a backyard setting or the inside of your beautiful home. They add a touch of whimsy & charm to any decor & are one of a kind finds for sure! I am enchanted with them and own three myself.  They will be available in the Tutti Chic boutique very soon! More pretty colors available in soft pinks & greens~

 

   

Painted my front door (previous post)  THE MOST hideous shade of neon lavender you have ever seen!   OMG~What was I thinking? I am going to show you just how awful it was very soon when I re-paint the door a very soft muted lavender~stay tuned! Just an FYI for all you catalogue ladies.....The most recent online Heirloom Roses catalogue is now here for you to enjoy. I have ordered the prettiest roses from this on-line catalogue & have never been dissapointed~take a peek when you have a moment! :) Wish me luck with the new paint! LOL!

 

French & Fabulous Front Doors....

  Every Spring I get the itch to re-paint my two front doors. It's a right of passage into the mild Spring weather we all enjoy & it sort of breathes new life onto the front of our home. I am always so inspired by the colors & hues of Provence. Thanks to flickr we all have access to such gorgeous photos. I am so inspired by these beautiful colors~I hope you are too!

 

 

 

SO....it's off to the paint store today to pick out a new color for the front doors. My husband says that the doors will implode someday because of all the coats of paint over the years! LOL! Have a wonderful Monday! xo

Making Scents Of It All....

 

I am daydreaming about pink roses and their amazing scents~

How excited are we here that the clocks are going ahead an hour this weekend??!! YIPEEE is all I can say, especially after the last snow storm this weekend that once again buried us in the white stuff! I know I've been whining all winter long but come on...enough is enough already! LOL!  Thinking of my gardens under the snow got me thinking about the first blooms I want to inhale come the warmer weather. Here's a few....

I think the sweet smell of lilacs are what I most look forward to come spring~

 Do you love the smell of this gorgeous plant? Doesn't everyone love lavender? :)

What are the blooms that you love inhale?  I tend to buy candles all winter long that have these heavenly scents especially my favorite.....
