Lovely Local.......

 I've wanted to blog about this lovely lady & lovely shop for a while......I found this lovely shop one day bombing down a main road in rehoboth in the garden mobile on my way to a garden job. I screeched on the brakes as I took in the prettiest shop set among rows & rows of gorgeous peonies & a perfectly manicured lawn. Jackie Lantry is the owner of this wonderful shop filled with french inspired items, antiques & the most wonderful vintage grain sacks that can be made into totes or be used to upholster a chair etc. Jackie is wonderful & has an eye for beautiful, old & unique items! The photo above features a FABulous old french iron bed made into a wonderful bench that I purchased for my living room, complete with a large burlap pillow adorned with a french quote. I saw this in Jackie's shop & knew it had to come home with me!  Jackie & her family also raise the most gorgeous peonies! They sell them to whole foods & a number of other places wholesale. Blissful Reading....

Just got my copy of "BLOGGING FOR BLISS" by the very talented Tara Frey & it truly is a "must have" for anyone interested in starting a blog or making theirs better! I am so guilty of torturing my dear friend Tara with questions all the time about blogging & now I have my very own reference manual with tons of photos of absolutley fabulous blogs & how-to's on virtually any question I  will ever have! So well written, easy to follow & so so many beautiful photos of fellow bloggers gorgeous blogs~I'm in awe & it's Tara's first book! Well done my dear friend & Congrats to you on your very first book! :)

Talented Friends & First Blooms....

I just had to blog about the gorgeous BON APETIT place cards & tags (complete with their own little embellished bag) I purchased from my friend Jennifer Cotter. These are just perfect for a luncheon, dinner party or the holidays! Take a peek at Jen's gorgeous things in her beautiful shop.

Sooo happy to see the frist blooms of the season! I must admit though, I planted my pansies a bit too early & they looked like they needed the funeral home last week. After some rain & warmer weather they have revived & are looking awesome! :)

   

My front door is all painted & now sports a heavenly shade of lavender! It works so well with the cape cod gray(which is really a beige) stain & pale blue shutters. I couldn't even bring myself to show you the awful shade of neon lavender I originally painted it lol! All is well & spring is in the air! Have a beautiful rest of the week my friends!

A FRESH NEW LOOK!

I am SO delighted with the NEW look for my website Tutti Chic! It's a new year & although I loved my old look I wanted something Fresh & New! Thanks to the talented Sara Duckett at Sadie Olive Designs I have one & in record time! Sara incorporated my love for all things European, Vintage & Romantic. There is even a presence of "the garden" in the pretty vintage urns she chose to add to the look (which is my first love!) THANK YOU Sara for the wonderful job!
